Horse Riding

Horses have been a great passion throughout my life. From breeding horses and competing nationally. It allowed for great discipline and determination with constantly training and improving. It has allowed me to see all parts of the country and brought me some of the biggest highs in my life winning multiple championships both individually and on teams.  It creates great camaraderie between so many people as you could be a same team one day and than competing against each other the next. It has allowed me to travel to horse racing events in the UK and France which have been very memorable experiences.

Charity Work

Giving back has always been a interest of mine. I have had a very fortunate life growing up, as of this great privilege I have felt there is a need to give back to the community. One of the largest charity events I have completed is running from Dublin to Limerick for Crumlin's Children's Hospital in TY. This was a great event involving 40 of my year over a week period and we raised over €50,000. I also created an annual 5k/10k run that still takes place in my old school to raise money towards Crumlin. It has grown greatly since first established and it is enjoyable to see the legacy continue. I have continued my charity work with events such as auctioning for charities such as GOAL, Irish Cancer society, Injured Jockeys Fund.

Farming

A true passion of mine is farming from a very young age it has always been where you will find me on my days off. I started my own herd of pedigree Dexter cattle at 16 yrs old with 3 cows and have grown to 30. Farming teaches you so much about life and the quickly changing environment it entails. There is many highs but with animals there is always lows. These lows are actually a great benefit to a personal growth as it shows life does not always go to plan and you must be able to quickly adapt and overcome these difficulties.
